Sec. 10. “Governing body” means:
(2) a metropolitan board of education;
(1) a board of school commissioners;

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
(3) a board of trustees;
(4) any other board or commission charged by law with the responsibility of administering the affairs of a school corporation; or
(5) the body that administers a charter school established under IC 20-24.
