Indiana Code 20-34-8-4. Application to parent of emancipated applicable student

Sec. 4. This chapter does not require information to be provided to or consent to be received from the parent of an applicable student if the applicable student is:

(1) at least eighteen (18) years of age; or

Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-34-8-4

applicable student: means a student who competes in an athletic activity. See Indiana Code 20-34-8-0.5
minor: means a person less than eighteen (18) years of age. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5

(2) an emancipated minor.
