Sec. 4. Before May 1, 2024, the commission and the department shall do the following:
(2) Establish and publicize the criteria for awarding the designation.
(1) Develop the designation required by section 3 of this chapter.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 21-18-18-4
- department: refers to the Indiana department of veterans' affairs established by IC 10-17-1-2. See Indiana Code 21-18-18-1
- designation: refers to the higher education purple star designation developed under section 3 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 21-18-18-2
(3) Prescribe the form and manner of applying for a designation.
(4) Make the process for applying for a designation available to interested state educational institutions, approved postsecondary educational institutions, or other postsecondary educational institutions on the commission’s website.
