Terms Used In Indiana Code 21-39-9.1-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, “group or organization” means a club, an association, a corporation, an order, a society, a private club, a fraternity or sorority, or a varsity or club athletic team primarily made up of students or alumni, regardless of whether it is chartered by a national organization.
