Sec. 10. The commissioner shall have power:
(2) to revoke or suspend any certificate of authority when any condition prescribed by law for granting it no longer exists.
(1) to revoke or suspend the authority to do business in this state of any company which refuses to permit an examination under IC 27-1-3.1; and
Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-1-3-10
- certificate of authority: means an instrument in writing issued by the department to an insurer, which sets out the authority of such insurer to engage in the business of insurance or activities connected therewith. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
- Commissioner: means the "insurance commissioner" of this state. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
