Sec. 53. There is no liability on the part of, and no cause of action shall arise against:
(2) the department; or
(1) the commissioner;
Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-1-36-53
- Commissioner: means the "insurance commissioner" of this state. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
- Department: means "the department of insurance" of this state. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
(3) any employee or agent of the department;
for any action taken in the exercise of their powers and the performance of duties under this chapter.
