Sec. 18. This chapter does not apply to the following:
(2) A contract that is effective for a specified period and under which a person agrees to:
(1) A warranty provided under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-1-43.2-18
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- holder: means a person who is entitled to services or indemnification under a service contract. See Indiana Code 27-1-43.2-2
- person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, and partnerships; personal pronoun includes all genders; the singular includes the plural and the plural includes the singular. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
- warranty: means a guarantee that:

(A) provide; or
(B) indemnify the contract holder for;
regular maintenance.
(3) A motor club approved under IC 9-30-2-8.
