Indiana Code 27-1-44.6-7. Terms; vacancies

Sec. 7. (a) Members appointed by the governor serve a four (4) year term that expires June 30, 2025, and each fourth year thereafter. Members may be reappointed to successive terms.

Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-1-44.6-7

advisory board: refers to the all payer claims data base advisory board established under section 5 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 27-1-44.6-2
executive director: has the meaning in Indiana Code 27-1-44.6-4
member: means one who holds a contract of insurance or is insured in an insurance company other than a stock corporation. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5

(b) Subject to subsection (d), the executive director is a permanent member of the advisory board.

(c) Each appointed member serves until the member’s successor is appointed and qualified. A vacancy must be filled by the appropriate appointing authority. A member appointed to fill a vacancy serves for the unexpired term of the member’s predecessor.

(d) A member may be removed from the advisory board for good cause by the member’s appointing authority.
