Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-35-5-7

  • Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
     (b) A town court is not a court of record.

     (c) Except as provided in section 7.5 of this chapter, a person selected as judge of a city court or town court must be an attorney in good standing admitted to the practice of law in Indiana.
