Terms Used In Indiana Code 34-54-9-1

  • Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
(2) the settlement is refused; and

(3) the money is brought into court to keep the tender good.
