Sec. 6. All:
(2) written undertakings for the delivery of personal property to the sheriff;
(1) property levied on before stay of execution; and
Terms Used In Indiana Code 34-55-2-6
- Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
- Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Sheriff: means the sheriff of the county or another person authorized to perform sheriff's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
shall be relinquished by the officer upon bail for the stay of execution being entered.
