Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-1.5-2-4
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 4. “Political subdivision” has the meaning set forth in IC 36-1-2, except that the term does not include a local hospital authority or corporation.
