Any bank aggrieved by any decision or order issued by the Commissioner or any member of the Commissioner’s staff must appeal to the State Board of Finance if a review of the decision or order is desired. The appeal must be made within 15 days after the decision or order is issued.

- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
