1. The Administrator may designate the method of obtaining a contract, including:
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 333.162
- Administrator: means the Administrator of the Purchasing Division. See Nevada Revised Statutes 333.020
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Invitation to bid: means a written statement which sets forth the requirements and specifications of a contract to be awarded by competitive selection. See Nevada Revised Statutes 333.020
- Request for proposals: means a written statement which sets forth the requirements and specifications of a contract to be awarded by competitive selection. See Nevada Revised Statutes 333.020
(a) An invitation to bid;
(b) A request for proposals;
(c) A request for qualifications;
(d) A request for information;
(e) A request for a quotation; or
(f) Any other accepted method of purchasing that complies with the provisions of this chapter.
2. The Administrator shall adopt regulations governing the methods of obtaining a contract.
