The statement, entitled Statement to the Respondent, shall be worded so as to inform the respondent:
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 639.243
- Answer: The formal written statement by a defendant responding to a civil complaint and setting forth the grounds for defense.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
1. That an accusation has been filed.
2. Of the right to a hearing before the Board to answer to the alleged violations and to submit evidence in his or her own behalf if requested by the filing of two copies of the Notice of Defense within 20 days after receipt of the accusation.
