Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 685B.180
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
2. Such an order becomes final:
(a) Upon the expiration of the time for taking an appeal, if no petition for review has been filed; or
(b) Upon the final decision of the court.
