The Commission may by subpoena require any person claiming to be exempt from regulation by reason of NRS 704.021 to appear before it with all of the person’s relevant books, papers and records, and to testify concerning the scope, nature and conduct of the person’s business.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 704.031
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
- Subpoena: A command to a witness to appear and give testimony.
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
