- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
The Chief Financial Officer may certify, under his or her seal of office, copies of any record, paper, or document, by law placed in the Chief Financial Officer’s custody, keeping, and care; and such certified copy shall have the same force and effect as evidence as the original would have.
