- person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
A person may not practice, or hold herself or himself out as being able to practice, physical therapy in this state unless she or he is licensed under this chapter or holds a compact privilege in this state under the Physical Therapy Licensure Compact as specified in s. 486.112. This chapter does not prohibit any person licensed in this state under any other law from engaging in the practice for which she or he is licensed.
