Terms Used In Florida Statutes 578.29
- Shrub seed: means seed of a woody plant that is smaller than a tree and has several main stems arising at or near the ground. See Florida Statutes 578.011
- Weed seed: includes the seed of all plants generally recognized as weeds within this state, and includes prohibited and restricted noxious weed seed, bulblets, tubers, and any other vegetative propagules. See Florida Statutes 578.011
Seeds meeting the definition of prohibited noxious weed seed under s. 578.011 may not be present in agricultural, vegetable, flower, tree, or shrub seed offered or exposed for sale in this state.
