  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
Before any assistance is provided under this law, the county or municipality and the Florida Forest Service, through their duly constituted representatives, shall enter into a mutually satisfactory cooperative agreement covering the specific duties, and set up a budget for any fiscal period beginning July 1 and ending June 30, and the county’s or municipality’s share of the budget provided shall be turned over to the Florida Forest Service, one-half on or before July 1, and the remainder on or before January 1, and placed in the Incidental Trust Fund of the Florida Forest Service.
