The clerks of the courts and the sheriffs performing duties under the provisions of ss. 849.15–849.23 shall receive the same fees as prescribed by general law for the performance of similar duties, and such fees shall be paid out of the fine and forfeiture fund of the county as costs are paid upon conviction of an insolvent person.
