- person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
Even though a notice to appear is issued, a law enforcement officer shall be authorized to take a person to a medical facility for such care as appropriate.
