Terms Used In Florida Statutes 348.7543

  • authority: means the body politic and corporate, and agency of the state created by this part. See Florida Statutes 348.752
  • bonds: means the notes, bonds, refunding bonds, or other evidences of indebtedness or obligations, in either temporary or definitive form, which the authority is authorized to issue pursuant to this part. See Florida Statutes 348.752
Pursuant to Fla. Const. Art. VII, § 11(f), the Legislature approves for bond financing by the Central Florida Expressway Authority improvements to toll collection facilities, interchanges to the legislatively approved expressway system, and any other facility appurtenant, necessary, or incidental to the approved system. Subject to terms and conditions of applicable revenue bond resolutions and covenants, such costs may be financed in whole or in part by revenue bonds issued pursuant to s. 348.755(1)(a) or (b) whether currently issued or issued in the future, or by a combination of such bonds.
