Terms Used In Florida Statutes 348.760

  • authority: means the body politic and corporate, and agency of the state created by this part. See Florida Statutes 348.752
  • political subdivision: include counties, cities, towns, villages, special tax school districts, special road and bridge districts, bridge districts, and all other districts in this state. See Florida Statutes 1.01
A county, municipality, drainage district, road and bridge district, school district or any other political subdivision, board, commission, or individual in, or of, the state may make and enter into with the authority, contracts, leases, conveyances, partnerships, or other agreements pursuant to this part. The authority may make and enter into contracts, leases, conveyances, partnerships, and other agreements with any political subdivision, agency, or instrumentality of the state and any federal agencies, corporations, and individuals, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this part.
