Terms Used In Florida Statutes 468.1175
- Audiologist: means a person licensed under this part to practice audiology. See Florida Statutes 468.1125
- person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
- Speech-language pathologist: means a person licensed under this part to practice speech pathology. See Florida Statutes 468.1125
A person desiring to be licensed as a speech-language pathologist or an audiologist shall apply to the appropriate examining entity for examination. A person who fails an examination may make application for reexamination to the appropriate examining entity.
