Under the Florida Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

Any individual who knowingly makes a false or otherwise fraudulent application for license or appointment under this act, or who knowingly violates any provision thereof, shall in addition to any applicable denial, suspension, revocation, or refusal to renew or continue any license or appointment, be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. Each instance of violation shall be considered a separate offense.
