Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:964
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means a Louisiana industrial development corporation created under this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:951
The period of duration of the corporation shall be fifty years, subject, however, to the right of the stockholders and the members to dissolve the corporation prior to the expiration of said period as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 12:965.
