Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:345 – Compensation and expenses of board
A. The members of the board appointed pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 37:341 shall receive compensation fixed by the board at not more than one hundred twenty-five dollars per day for each day in attendance upon its sessions and for necessary subsistence, hotel expenses, and travel expenses, covering travel from their domiciles to the place of meeting and return as set by regulation by the division of administration for executive branch agencies.
B. Board members shall be paid only actual expenses in the discharge of their duties. They shall give a correct itemized statement of their expenses.
C. The board shall be furnished suitable quarters.
