Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:1339

  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.

A.  Any person who knowingly makes, causes, or allows someone else to cause to be made or to make a false statement, under the oath required by this Chapter, on any report or statement required by the commissioner, or to the commissioner, shall be subject to the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 6:1336.

B.  When financial loss to a savings bank is caused by such statements, the penalties shall be commensurate with that loss.
