Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:1321
- Member: means a person with a membership interest in a limited liability company with the rights and obligations specified under this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:1301
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
The contribution of a member to a limited liability company may take the form of cash, property, services rendered, or a promissory note or other binding obligation to contribute cash or property or to perform services.
