Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:2354.5
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Person: means an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, limited liability company, association, joint venture, public corporation, government or governmental subdivision, agency, or instrumentality, or any other legal or commercial entity. - Refusal: means a record created pursuant to the provisions of Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:2351
A person, who to obtain financial gain, intentionally falsifies, forges, conceals, defaces, or obliterates a document of gift, amendment, or revocation thereof, or a refusal shall be subject to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand dollars or imprisonment not exceeding five years with or without hard labor, or both.
