Louisiana Revised Statutes 27:445 – Video draw poker employee permits; categories; permit term
Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 27:445
- person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 1:10
- Video draw poker: means any card game approved by the division that utilizes one or more decks of cards per hand with multiple hands permitted per game. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 27:402
- Video draw poker employee: means a person issued a permit pursuant to the provisions of Louisiana Revised Statutes 27:402
A. Except as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 27:449, on or after January 1, 2004, no person shall be employed as a video draw poker employee unless that person is the holder of a valid video draw poker employee permit.
B. There shall be the following categories of video draw poker employee permits:
(1) Certified technician level one. A person issued this permit shall be authorized to conduct the activities as defined in La. Rev. Stat. 27:402(2).
(2) Certified technician level two. A person issued this permit shall be authorized to conduct the activities as defined in La. Rev. Stat. 27:402(3).
(3) Repealed by Acts 2009, No. 92, §2.
C. A video draw poker employee permit shall not be transferable.
D. The term of a video draw poker employee permit shall be five years.
