Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:394
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Assets: means all of a state bank's property and rights of every kind. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:201
- Receiver: means the person liquidating a state bank pursuant to Part II of this Subchapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:381
- Receivership court: means the district court for the parish in which the state bank is domiciled. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:381
All claims filed after the one hundred eighty day claim period prescribed by La. Rev. Stat. 6:393 and subsequently accepted by the receiver or allowed by the receivership court shall be entitled to share in the distribution of assets only to the extent of the undistributed assets in the hands of the receiver on the date such claims are accepted or allowed.
