- Persons with disabilities: means those citizens of Louisiana who meet the Social Security Disability criteria. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:1251.4
In accordance with the authority granted the Louisiana Department of Health pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 36:254(A)(6) and (D)(1)(a)(i) and pursuant to the restrictions contained in this Part, the department shall avail itself of the provisions of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act provisions to implement a buy-in program for the working persons with disabilities.
