(1) No substantive change to the proposed amendment of the articles of organization or bylaws shall be made at the members’ meeting at which the vote occurs.
Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 21-29,112
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Organization: means a limited cooperative association, limited cooperative association governed by a law other than the Nebraska Limited Cooperative Association Act, a general partnership, a limited liability partnership, a limited partnership, a limited liability company, a business trust, a corporation, a cooperative, or any other person having a governing statute. See Nebraska Statutes 21-29,117
(2) Subject to subsection (1) of this section, any amendment of the amendment need not be separately voted upon by the board of directors.
(3) The vote to adopt an amendment to the amendment is the same as that required to pass the proposed amendment.
