Any individual who believes that a violation of the Nebraska Political Accountability and Disclosure Act has occurred may, after exhausting the administrative remedies provided by the act, bring a civil action to compel the commission to fulfill its responsibilities under the act, or may bring a civil action against any person or persons to compel compliance with the act.

- Action: shall include any proceeding in any court of this state. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Commission: shall mean the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission created by section Nebraska Statutes 49-1412
- Person: shall mean a business, individual, proprietorship, firm, partnership, limited liability company, joint venture, syndicate, business trust, labor organization, company, corporation, association, committee, or other organization or group of persons acting jointly. See Nebraska Statutes 49-1438
