As used in Sections 1-14-9 through 1-14-12 N.M. Stat. Ann., “ballots” includes tally sheets, registration certificates, paper ballots, absentee ballots, statements of canvass, absentee ballot applications and absentee ballot registers, but does not include voting machines.
