In any claim for civil damages arising out of the provision of emergency medical services by personnel described in Section 24-10B-5 N.M. Stat. Ann., those personnel shall be considered health care providers for purposes of the Tort Claims Act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 41-4-1 to 41-4-27 if the claim is against a governmental entity or a public employee as defined by that act.
