A metropolitan water board created by this act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 3-61-1 to 3-61-4 may incur reasonable costs and expenses in carrying out its power; the budget of the water board shall be included in the budget of the municipality and the county creating the water board and shall be subject to the approval of the New Mexico department of finance and administration as required by Section 6-6-2 et seq., NMSA 1978, as enacted or amended.
