The failure of any employer [any employer who fails] to keep such a record, or [makes] any false entry therein, or the failure [fails] to comply with the provisions of this act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 50-4-13 to 50-4-18, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than seventy-five dollars [($75.00)], or more than three hundred dollars [($300)] for each offense.
