A licensee shall refer to a physician authorized to practice in the state under the Medical Practice Act [N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 61, Article 6] any patient whose medical condition should, at the time of evaluation or treatment, be determined to be beyond the scope of practice of the licensee.
