Sections 68-1-1 and 68-1-2 N.M. Stat. Ann. (being Laws 1939, Chapter 141, Sections 1 and 2, as amended) shall apply only to logging operations and timber cutting pursuant to contracts or agreements entered into prior to January 1, 1979.
