Said notice shall be served personally or by leaving at the usual place of abode of said unserved owners, or reputed owners as in Section 73-6-4 N.M. Stat. Ann. provided not less than eight days before said hearing or published not less than fourteen days before said adjourned hearing, in some newspaper published in the county in which said owner’s lands lie, or if no newspaper be published in said county, then in some newspaper of general circulation in the district.
