The elected board has the authority to petition the county special district commission to change the authority’s boundaries. The county special district commission’s decision shall be made in accordance with Sections 8, 9 and 10 [74-10-8, 74-10-9 and 74-10-10 N.M. Stat. Ann.] of the Solid Waste Authority Act.
