Any State government or unit of general local government aggrieved by a final determination of the Office under § 42.213 may appeal such determination as provided in section 805 of the JSIA.
Terms Used In 28 CFR 42.214
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
