(a) In general

There are authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year such sums as are necessary to carry out this chapter.

Terms Used In 7 USC 6814

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • order: means an order issued under this chapter (other than sections 6808, 6809, and 6811 of this title). See 7 USC 6802
  • PromoFlor Council: means the Fresh Cut Flowers and Fresh Cut Greens Promotion Council established under section 6804(b) of this title. See 7 USC 6802

Funds appropriated under subsection (a) may not be used for the payment of the expenses or expenditures of the PromoFlor Council in administering a provision of an order.
