  • officer: includes any person authorized by law to perform the duties of the office. See 1 USC 1
  • Postal Service: means the United States Postal Service established by section 201 of this title. See 39 USC 102
  • vehicle: includes every description of carriage or other artificial contrivance used, or capable of being used, as a means of transportation on land. See 1 USC 4
  • vessel: includes every description of watercraft or other artificial contrivance used, or capable of being used, as a means of transportation on water. See 1 USC 3
