Alabama Code 22-6-91. Definitions

For purposes of this article, the following words shall have the following meanings:

(1) HEALTHCARE SERVICES. Any services of the type for which the Medicaid Agency may reimburse a provider.

Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Alabama Code 1-1-1

(2) PARTNERSHIP HOSPITAL PROGRAM. The Medicaid managed care program for the provision of inpatient care in this state.
