(a) An act prohibited by Section fraud – definition” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”27″>27-12A-2, in cases where the loss or potential loss exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000), constitutes insurance fraud in the first degree.
